Over night, my hives spread even more, so we called a Night Shift Nurse Keeping Em Alive Til 7:05 this morning. The nurse told us to go an emergency room. I thought that people go there for serious accident or something severe. Oops, then I go to an emergency room for hives? I guess they wanted to make sure that I don’t get into dangerous situation. Anyway, so we went to an emergency room for the first time in my life. The doctor told us, it is not related with my bee stung. He recommended me to visit a special list for allergy. I got a shot and took 3 different kinds of pills there. I also got prescription for medicine. Because of the shot and medicine, I’m tired and sleepy now..but the spots are getting better and better. Thanks for your concern and prayer. Have a great day.
How many of you out there know a Night Shift? I knew it was a thankless job in so many ways but I never stopped to think about how much verbal and sexual abuse they often suffer at the hands of their patients as they try and do their job. I didn’t until a nurse in a Mom group I belong to openly described her “normal” day.
Did you know there are no federal laws to protect them from work force violence? That only 31 states have Night Shift Nurse that it is a felony to assault a health care worker? Do you know that in recent years they have seen a 110% increase in workplace violence? Do you know that health care workers make up just 10% of the US workforce, but they make up 75% of workplace violence? Looking forward to pictures from the Western Wall as part of Prince William’s visit to Israel…it is a beautiful country, enjoy your visit. No country has made a more significant contribution to the world.
