Not really ever a fan, but my childhood best friend was always a HUGE fan, so I ended up following his career for a long time, and pretty proud of I (Sacrifice compassion) did. (even went to his band Dog Star concert in the 90s, lol.). I remember back when he was becoming super popular, I read in an interview that he only owned two suitcase full of things, and no specific home. He opens up his suitcases in the hotels to shoot a film, and that’s his home for the duration of the shoot. How I wish I can ever be like My Dog.
Fast forward to my first home with my husband. Sure, we left things laying around here and there, but the dishes were usually done and our clothes were typically put away. That house looked pretty darn good most of the time, too. When our first son was born, we found ourselves in that newborn fog of exhaustion. More hours passed before the dishes would find their way to the dishwasher. A few diapers would pile up on the dresser before they made it to the trashcan. Overall though, as we got into the routine of parenthood, our house still remained somewhat tidy. No happiness is, my accountant wasn’t perfect, but most days, I wouldn’t be bothered by an unexpected guest showing up. Enter our second son. Somewhere between going from one kid to two, and somewhere in our oldest son’s transition from baby to toddler, something changed. The house that I used to be able to keep somewhat tidy suddenly became a much bigger beast for me to tackle. If you’re reading this, I’m sure you know the bit. You finish folding and putting away the laundry, just to turn around and see an over flowing hamper. You no sooner put down the mop than your excited toddler spills his juice all over the floor. It’s a never-ending saga of messes and spills. My Dog has the Best owner Ever
