Everyone is posting they are going camping… um I would suggest we change that to glamping! Everyone has an awesome trailer, iPads, etc etc. Let’s be real the only people do this weekend are probably 16-22! I just need to go camping shirt if you have running water, microwave, access to showers with hot/cold water! If you are having elaborate meals and not eating out of a can you are not go doing! I will be enjoying the lake- and Believe me this girl is A Vegan Looks Like!
Hi friends!! Thank you so much for all your lovely birthday wishes! As always I spent the day working (‘you work?’) but this weekend I’m going camping for the first time since probably…I’d say, 2001. Anyway, whenever I think or ‘happy camper’ or just ‘camper’…I think Gaffigan. Jokes aside, apparently Muskoka is supposed to be wild…now I’m really feeling like a resident of Southern Ontario…or wait Northern…you get it. Hope everyone back home in Ottawa is doing well!
I don’t like to associate with the word “camper” anymore. People with houses go camping on the weekend. I can spot them a mile away. Campers are different. For them it’s a hobby and that is fine. We all started there but for us… we live this. Don’t dare call us campers, to say that is to say that we are still apprentices. We are nomads, travelers, journeymen and women. We still learn something new every day and that is the journey. We have thrown things out, sold stuff we didn’t want to sell and gave things away to be able to do this. Flag is only the gateway. We travel. We have our lives with us wherever we go and that is why we are able to experience more. This is why I don’t associate with camping anymore. I am something more. More committed and dedicated to living the life I want. What about you?
